Other computers in the library, including the Computer Lab LAC 204 on the second floor, require an LSC login.

All users of library computers are expected to observe the VSC Computing and Telecommunications Technology Conditions of Use Policy.

The library has black & white and color printers on the 3rd floor. Anyone doing a print job must print from their computer and then confirm the print job at the print release station.

College members’ print jobs will be debited from their printing credit. Guest borrowers’ print jobs will be debited from printing credit that can be purchased online with a credit card or with cash at the Circulation desk. The cost of printing for guest borrowers is 15¢ per page (black & white) and 30¢ per page (color).

Guest printing accounts can be set up at https://printing.lsc.vsc.edu:9192/app. A minimum of $5.00 can be added to a printing account at one time.

Remote access

If you are a member of the LSC community — student, faculty or staff — most library resources are available from off-campus.

  • Use the library website as your normally would to get to the resource you want.
  • Log in with the username and password that you use for all College access points (Moodle, email, etc.)

If you are having trouble or are refused access, these are a few possible reasons:

  • Your library privileges have expired.
  • You are registered as a student at another VSC college. For instance, if you are a CCV student, you will need to use the CCV library website.
  • Did you just receive your username and password? It may take 24 hours for it to be applied to the Library’s databases.

Contact the Reference Desk at 626-6450 if you are still having problems.

People who are not affiliated with the college cannot access our databases remotely but have open public access in the library on the Reference area computers.
